The Unsung Heroes of the Changhua Plain: A Brief Introduction -

Liang Jui-hsing (1949-)

When he was in teacher training college, Liang formed a “study circle” with his best friends to discuss the political taboos. After he became a teacher, he still held similar gatherings in the name of “fellow initiate team” and read out the prayers for the February 28 Incident with his friends at Sun Moon Lake. Although he was once reported for copying the flyer titled “A Letter to the President,” making a police statement after the interrogation, his passion for Taiwan’s democracy remained unabated.
