Tightening Control of Campuses: The Punishment of Students after the 228 Incident
After the 228 Incident, the Taiwan Provincial Department of Education promulgated the, stipulating that school staff and students go back to school on March 17, 1947. Students were also required to be accompanied by their parents or guarantors to register their attendance at the school. Any student gatherings or group activities were strictly limited.
