The Unsung Heroes of the Changhua Plain: A Brief Introduction -

Liang Ching-hsien (1931-2004)

A pioneer of mechanized farming, Liang’s love for his homeland and Taiwan’s democracy was a hard act to follow. His wife Liang-Yen Shui-chih was also a keen protester while also being his best partner. “The Fighting Meal by Madame Liang” served as a precious memory for their comrades. Liang-Yen passed away in 2017, thus being reunited with her dear husband in heaven.
