Redressing the Injustices of the 228 Incident: The Gradually-developing Process of Redressing Injustice in Taiwan’s society

On December 8, 1990, thanks to Su Nan-chou's effort and invitation on behalf of the Wilderness Society, the 228 Shalom Service took place at the Grace Baptist Church on Hsin Sheng South Road in Taipei City. Attendees at the service included family members of the 228 victims, government department leaders at the time, and individuals from opposition parties. This event fostered interactions between the authorities and the public, significantly influencing the government's attitude to addressing the 228 Incident later on.
